If Radical Together has struck a chord within you, then I encourage you to get together with a few other people whom you serve God alongside and talk about how to implement the six key ideas of this book in your church or ministry area.
Your group might be made up of pastors or other paid staff members. It might be made up of unpaid leaders in the church. It might be made up of people who have no specific role in church leadership but who want to be influencers for the kingdom. Regardless, the key is that you all have a passion for seeing God’s people fulfill God’s purpose within the context of the church.
The following sessions will guide you through discussion and planning about what you can do. As you meet together, keep in mind these guidelines:
Obviously, I don’t know how abandonment to the purpose of God should play out in your life or church. I’m continually exploring what this looks like in the church I serve! But the Spirit of God is good. He desires the spread of the gospel and the declaration of God’s glory among all peoples far more than we do. He will lead us. He will guide us. He will direct us as we put our lives and our churches on the table and ask him to use us to magnify his name by making disciples of all nations.
One final thing: When God does something exciting in your life and church, please share it with others at www.radicaltogether.com. Together, we’ll spur one another on in the church for God’s purpose in the world.
